Pricing
All prices quoted are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. We do our best to keep the website current, however we reserve the right to alter prices without notice.

Booking Confirmation
Once your order request has been received by Ella Jaye Catering, you will be sent a quote via email. Please ensure that all details are correct including: time and date of delivery and collection, number of people, dietary requirements, location and contact details. Once you are happy with the quote, please respond via email confirming the order. You will then be required to pay a 50% deposit. The SFC will only confirm the order once the deposit has been received.

Payment
Invoices are sent to your nominated email address. Full payment is due prior to event unless prior arrangements have been made. Our bank account details are located on each invoice for payment by direct transfer, and we also accept payment by credit card. Please note payments via credit card online incurs a 2.5% processing fee.

Cancellations/Postponements
If you're event is cancelled, the following terms apply:

Once your 50% deposit has been received and your catering is booked in, it is likely that we will be turning down other catering requests for that day. Because of this, we have a firm cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or postpone your catering order, please contact us directly via phone. The following charges will be made for cancellation:

  •  In the case of cancellations notified forty (40) business days or more, Ella Jaye Catering will refund the full amount paid.
  •  In the case of cancellations notified between four (4) and forty (40) business days’ notice, Ella Jaye Catering will retain the full amount paid to cover lost sales and the customer will be issued a credit note.
  •  In the case of a cancellation notified four (4) business days or less notice, Ella Jaye Catering will retain the full amount paid to cover food loss, labour loss and lost sales.

We ask that you place your order as early as possible to avoid the risk of your date becoming unavailable due to other bookings. We recommend sending us an email just to let us know what date your event is on and we'll pencil you in.

Food Safety
The Ella Jaye Catering staff and suppliers prepare all food in accordance with the food standards set by the NZ National Food Control Plan and Food Act 2014. All our food is assembled daily in our 'A Grade' Auckland premise. We will communicate the shelf life and any heating/cooling instructions with all deliveries. If these instructions are not adhered to we will not be liable for any illness caused.

Allergens and Dietary Requirements
We may be able to cater to dietary requirements, just send us a message before ordering to confirm.

However if it is more than an intolerance, and instead an allergy, unfortunately we cannot cater for this as everything is made in the same kitchen, and whilst every effort is made to keep your order free from communicated allergies we cannot 100% guarantee that every trace of the allergy will be removed. 

All menu items may contain traces of gluten, soy, tree nuts, sesame, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, lupin, wheat. 

Ella Jaye Catering will not accept responsibility or liability for an adverse reaction to any of our food by any guest. Prior and clear communication of any dietary requirements must be received in writing prior to the event.
